about/contact

I’m Sara LeHoullier. Since I finished Peace Corps in Madagascar in 2007, I’ve been trying to figure out how to best use my knowledge, skills and abilities to build capacity and nurture innovation on the Big Red Island. Several trips, one MA in Sustainable Development, and one Madagascar Travel Companion later, I’m back where I started – in Madagascar! I’m current living in Ambositra, on the RN7 6 hours south of Antananarivo, teaching computers and micro-enterprise with Human Network International. I’ve already started writing the second edition of the Madagascar Travel Companion with the help of fellow PCRV Maya Moore, and I look forward to traveling to places the average tourist hasn’t seen before!

This website is meant to be a source about Madagascar – about travel, tourism, news, interesting things, and pictures from my journeys and the journeys of others.
